* A Note About Dark and Rich Colors*
Certain dye colors, especially red and blue, are prone to bleeding when washed. These items should always be washed separately to prevent cross bleeding onto other garments. Additionally, if you order a garment that has more than one color, and they differ greatly in hue and intensity (ex: dark purple and white), there is always a chance that the darker color will bleed onto the lighter one. SUSO Fashions will not be held responsible for this if you choose two or more greatly differing colors for your garment. This problem can be reduced by pre-washing dark colored fabric before it is sewn. If you would like me to pre-wash your fabric, please leave me a note in the "comments" section when you complete the order form for the item you want. There is a $5 surcharge for pre-washing fabric. Also, there are dye-catching products available in the laundry sections of supermarkets, which are designed to help alleviate this problem.
This versatile lightweight fabric is great for everything from shirts to pants to skirts. Made of 100% cotton, it is available in a large array of colors. It is less expensive than linen or silk, which makes it ideal for those people who are on a limited budget.

Made from the flax plant, linen is characterized by its textured woven appearance. It naturally wicks moisture away from the skin and quickly releases it back into the air to keep you comfortable. It is extremely durable, and thermo-regulating, which keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It may be machine washed, and gets softer every
time you wash it.

Silk Noil is made of 100% silk fibers that are spun and woven for a characteristic nubby texture. Silk is known for its natural ability to breathe, making it cool and comfortable. It is surprisingly durable when cared for properly, and has a natural sheen that is unlike any other fabric.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash cold with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly
in cold water. Drip dry. Gently iron on "Silk" setting with a press cloth if necessary.

Corduroy is characterized by distinguishing parallel lines of texture called wales. SUSO Fashions uses 100% cotton corduroy for durability and comfort. It’s great for pants, tabards, cloaks, and anything else that benefits from a heavier weight fabric with texture.

cycle of your machine. Hang to dry. Iron with apress cloth if neccessary.
Canvas is a tightly woven tough cotton fabric that adds stability and strength to garments. It is great for lining garments that may be put under extra strain, such as bodices or cinchers, and helps prevent boning from poking through the outer fabric. Canvas comes in a variety of colors to coordinate with any garment.

Organza is a shimmery sheer fabric that has a touch of body to it. Made of synthetic materials, it adds femininity and a delicate touch to garments.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash cold with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly in cold water. Drip dry.

Suede Cloth is a soft man-made fabric that is made to resemble suede leather. It is machine washable, and comes in a variety of colors. Suede cloth is suitable for tunics, skirts, tabards, and many other garments.

Microsuede is a man-made fabric that is made to resemble suede leather. It is similar to suede cloth, but it often has a one-way stretch, and tends to be a bit heavier in weight, which makes it warmer when wearing it. The ultra-soft texture and slinky feel allow it to drape beautifully and resist wrinkling.
